Ethereal Master Bedroom

Ethereal Master Bedroom

We have been working with an amazing family for a long time and jumped at the opportunity to design their Master Bedroom.  They wanted to wake up each day and feel like they were in a hotel.  We interpreted that as we had to make it calm and relaxing, but still chic.

This is the starting point for the fabrics and the rug.  We fell in love with the area rug by Dash and Albert and added a custom leather boarder around the rug.  From there I knew that I wanted everything to feel light and fresh...white, white, white white and more white.  There was even a moment that the headboard was going to be metallic silver...but then decided to move the silver  to the wall behind the bed.    One of the challenges of this project is that there was very little space on either side of the bed for bedside tables, so we opted to do a custom bookcase that the headboard would rest in next to built in bedside tables.
